Why did you create myPerks?

We listened to what Team Members and guests had to say about fuelperks+ and used that feedback to create a simpler program with more accessible, regular savings.

How do I participate in myPerks?

All you need is an Advantage Card! Scan your Advantage Card each time you shop at any Giant Eagle, MarketDistrict, or GetGo locations to track when you earn and redeem perks. myPerks is not yet available in all markets, but you can join myPerks by accepting our invitation.

How do I earn perks?

Perks are earned every time you shop. With myPerks, you earn 1 perk for every $1 you spend at all Giant Eagle, MarketDistrict, and GetGo locations on eligible grocery, gift card, and out-of-pocket pharmacy costs, 2 perks per gallon of fuel and 5 perks per eligible prescription.

How do I redeem rewards?

At checkout, you'll be asked if you would like to redeem your perks for dollars off your total purchase. Simply choose to redeem by accepting the on-screen prompts or tell your cashier that you'd like to redeem your rewards.

Does it cost anything to join myPerks?

Nope, it's free!

Can I still use my Advantage Card with myPerks?

Yes! Just keep scanning your Advantage Card at checkout to continue earning perks and saving.

How long do I have to redeem myPerks?

With myPerks, you have more time to use your perks! myPerks members keep their rewards for at least 90 days (end of 3rd calendar month after earning). If you are a myPerksPro, enjoy your rewards for up to 1 year (the next full calendar month after a year of non-use). See terms and conditions for full details.

What is the best way to keep track of my perks?

Download the Giant Eagle Grocery app to track your perks from anywhere. You can also find perks information on your receipts or by logging into the Giant Eagle, GetGo, or Market District website.

What is my "earning and membership period?"

Earning and membership periods occur in 6-month periods: January to June and July to December. Perks earned during the earning period count towards the 2,500-perk threshold needed to reach myPerks Pro membership for the associated membership period.

If a customer reaches the 2,500-perk threshold at any time during the earning period, they will be placed into myPerksPro the next day, and will maintain that membership through the end of that earning period and the associated membership period.

For example, if a myPerks member earns into Pro on October 20, 2020 (July earning period), they will be put intoPro on October 21, 2020 and will maintain Pro status through June 30, 2021. See Terms and Conditions for more information.

Will I be able to keep the perks I earned in fuelperks+?

Yes, when you join myPerks your perks will be converted to be redeemed in dollar rewards and will follow the rules and expiration of the myPerks program. The perk conversion will occur within 24 hours after you enter into the myPerks program. Please review the Terms and Conditions for full details.

Which prescriptions are not eligible to earn perks?

Perks are not earned on state and federally funded prescription purchases, including, but not limited toMedicare, Tricare, Medicaid, and PACE, excluding out-of-pocket pharmacy totals(such as deductibles and co-payments for prescriptions).

Can I still earn and redeem perks on fuel transactions at GetGo?

Yes, you earn two perks per gallon pumped with myPerks and 3 perks per gallon pumped with myPerksPro. If you are redeeming perks on fuel, your dollar rewards will be deducted from your total fuel purchase.

What happens if I am in myPerks but I shop at a store that doesn’t have myPerks?

Once you have myPerks you will earn and redeem under the myPerks program no matter which store you shop. You will see myPerks information at checkout and on your receipt.

What is myPerksPro?

myPerksPro is a reward level with even more benefits for our most loyal customers. The more you shop with us, the quicker you’ll be a Pro!

How do I join myPerksPro?

As a myPerksMember, you can earn into myPerksPro by earning 2,500 perks in the 6-month earning period. Once you reach the 2,500 perk threshold your account will transfer to myPerksPro within 24 hours. All earned perks will automatically follow the expiration schedule of the myPerksPro program and you will be eligible for all the benefits associated with myPerksPro.

What's the difference between Member and Pro?

As a myPerksMember, you get awesome benefits like being able to redeem in dollar rewards, earn perks when you redeem, and keeping your rewards for 90 days! As a Pro, you will earn 50% more perks and keep your rewards for up to 1 year! View the myPerksTerms and Conditions for more detail.

What happens if I don’t earn enough perks to stay in Pro and move back to Member status?

If you move between tiers, your perks will follow the earning and expiration rules of the program you are actively in. For example, if a myPerksPro account reverts back to a myPerksMember account on January 1, the customer will have until April 31 to use those perks and will earn perks as a myPerksMember.

Which purchases count towards my 2,500 perk requirements to earn or maintain Pro status?

All eligible grocery, prescription, out-of-pocket Pharmacy and fuel purchases at Giant Eagle, Market District, and GetGo and bonus perks earned through promotions and challenges count towards the 2,500-perk requirement. Please note that gift card purchases, gift card bonus perks and bonus perks earned by myPerksPro members do not count towards the 2,500 perk threshold needed to earn or maintain myPerksPro status.

Where can I find Perks Challenges?

Download the Giant EagleGrocery app to locate challenges or look out for new challenges in our emails! Both myPerks and myPerksPro members can participate in Perks Challenges to earn even more perks. You must have an online account to participate in Perks Challenges.

How do I participate in challenges?

Once you find the challenge you want to activate in the Giant Eagle Grocery app or Perks Challenge email, follow the instructions to start crushing that perk challenge! Once you complete your mission, bonus perks will be added to your account within 48 hours.

Do challenges expire?

The expiration period will be noted in the challenge and may vary by challenge.

What happens when I complete a Perks Challenge?

Congratulations on crushing it! Once you complete a challenge the bonus perks will be added to your account within 24-48 hours. You can easily keep track of your challenges and bonus perks in the Giant Eagle app.
